My belief in philanthropy stems from values instilled in me since childhood, wherein the importance of giving is an act of justice and righteousness, and therefore it is considered a duty and a blessing.
In order to improve lives and repair ills in the world, I take a pragmatic approach: I strive to improve the outcomes of organizations and inspire others to participate through engaging and effective means. This has led me to a donor-centered approach to fundraising, which entails building relationships with individuals who will commit significant resources to a mission. I employ the most effective practices of fundraising to engage donors and prospects and to meet and involve them in the organization in ways that inspire them. I also believe that most nonprofit organizations benefit from a diverse revenue base.
